Michael James Maier

Michael James MaierBorn April 22, 1952, in Baraboo, Wisconsin to LaVerne J. and Betty Jean (Anhalt) Maier. United in marriage to Marcia Manning October 9, 1971. Mike owned Maier Construction. An avid hunter, he was a member of his local Ducks Unlimited where he served as chapter president. In addition to Marcia, he is survived by his five children; daughters, Jennifer, Korin, Mary, Elizabeth, and son Caleb, all at home. Paternal grandfather, Adam Maier of Sauk City; maternal grandmother, Mayme Anhalt of Prairie du Sac; brothers, Mitchell, Roxbury, Mark (Diane) Prairie du Sac, Maurice, Prairie du Sac, Monte, Roxbury, sisters, Renee (Dennis) Frey, Sauk City, Roxanne (Jeff) Mueller, Merrimac, Rochell Maier, La Crosse, and Rebecca Maier, Roxbury; five nieces and four nephews. Internment is in Garden Bluff Cemetery, Cty J, Lodi.

Kori Jo Maier

She was born on November 5, 1990, daughter of Maurice and Rhonda (Rolstad) Maier. Kori loved to spend time doing outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, hiking and four-wheeling. Her son Bryce was her life. In her own words, "Bryce is the only man who has my heart, I love him so much".

She is survived by her son, Bryce; parents, Maurice and Rhonda Maier; 2 brothers, Wyatt and Cole; a sister, Ravin (Mike) Chatfield and their children, Alisha, Chloe and Owen; grandmother, Fay Rolstad; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vern and Betty Maier, and Ron "Mike" Rolstad; an aunt, Shelley Greimel; and an uncle, Michael Maier.

Interment is in Garden Bluff Cemetery, Lodi.

Maurice LaVerne Maier

He was born June 15, 1954 to LaVerne J. and Betty J. (Anhalt) Maier.

Maury married Rhonda Rolstad on July 11, 1987. He was a Carpenter in the Local Carpenters Union 314 of Madison; and worked side by side with his brothers, Mike and Mark.  He enjoyed hunting, grilling out, spending time with family, and was a master pool player.

Maury is survived by his wife, Rhonda; children, Ravin (Mike) Chatfield, Cole (fiancée Dawn), and Wyatt; grandchildren, Alicia, Chloe, Owen, Bryce, and Madeline. His siblings, Mitch (Sandy), Mark (Dianne), Renee (Dennis) Frey, Monte (Roxi), Roxann (Ron) Lenz, Rochell (Roberto) Colon, and Rebecca (Ted) Frey; mother in-law, Fay Rolstad; brother in-law, Scott Rolstad; sister in-law, Marcia Meise; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Maury was preceded in death by his daughter, Kori Jo; an infant sister, Mary; brother, Michael Maier; father in-law, Ronald “Mike” Rolstad; and sister in-law, Shelley Greimel.

Interment is in Garden Bluff Cemetery, Lodi.

Rayce Xavier Raschka

He was born May 4, 2000, the son of Derek Raschka and Jessica Frey.

Rayce loved life and lived it to the fullest.  He always seemed to shine on stage.  He loved spending time with his best friend “Cute Nerd” Alyssa Roland. Going to movies, hiking at Devil’s Lake, talking for hours, sleeping, and lots of time “culvering” in the driveway.

Rayce is survived by his loving parents, Derek Raschka, and Jessica Frey (Brad Druffin); Siblings, Kailey and Dawson Raschka, Christian and Adrianna Druffin; paternal grandparents, Francis and Debbie Raschka of Merrimac; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Renee Frey of Sauk City;  aunts, uncles, cousins, Dave and Taylor Raschka and their son Easton, Jamie (Frey), Kurt Caldwell and their children, Caity, Blaze, Kash, Hailey and Harper Caldwell, Michael and Brittney Frey (Kane due Sept 2018) and Mathew Frey (Victoria Gallup)

Joshua Michael Maier

Died October 5, 2020

He was born on April 20, 1991, the son of Mitch and Sandy Maier, in Deadwood, South Dakota. He grew up in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin. Josh gave the gift of life as he was an organ donor.

Josh is survived by his parents, his brother, Adrian (Kristin) Maier; his sisters, Lauren Maier and Marissa Kramer, and his four nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, LaVerne and Betty Maier and Fred and Doris Steeves.

Josh served time in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was currently working as an electrician apprentice.

Josh will be remembered for his funny sense of humor. He was a kind-hearted, giving person who was a great friend. He loved to draw, play guitar, watch funny animal videos, and play with his nephews who adored him.

Interment is in Garden Bluff Cemetery, Lodi.
